Pieta House offers a specialist counseling programme for people with suicidal ideation, those engaged in self-harm and people bereaved by suicide. 
The family of the late John Halpin wish to raise money for this organisation who annually hold the Darkness into Light walk in May, as they attempt to address the growing problems of hopelessness and despair in our communities, which for some may lead to attempting suicide.
