**I am organizing on behalf of Heather and Greg Pierson. The beneficiary recipient will be Megan Franco, their daughter, who is helping take care of responsibilities during this trying time, and will put this money towards rebuilding their home and for medical bills associated with Greg's cancer. 

One day ago, my extended family lost their Grandmother, sweet Sophie. While on a visit this evening to comfort John, Sophie’s husband, they got a call from the fire dept exclaiming that their house is on fire - and their dog Simba could not be saved, as the smoke and flames were too thick. Explosions were heard and half the house and 30 years of memories are now gone. Funeral bills, on-going chemo treatments for my Uncle Greg’s growing cancer, and now home repairs that will take months to complete, my heart is literally shattered and broken that my family has experienced so much trauma in 1 weekend. 

This family has always been so hardworking and giving - welcoming everyone into their home with open arms - that it saddens me to see this happen to them. 

Anything would help - even just sending positive vibes into the universe.
