Pierro's Battle Against Stage 4 Advanced Metastatic Melanoma

Hi everyone! My name is Courtney and I am Joseph's step daughter. Everyone calls him Pierro. February of 2024 Pierro got diagnosed at that time with Stage 3 Melanoma. The tumor was on his neck. With medication to shrink it and then surgery to remove we thought the battle would be over. However it grew back rapidly and that meant moving onto other treatment options. He is now Stage 4 Advanced Metastatic Melanoma. That means there are now other spots where the cancer has spread. He did radiation treatment which has helped, however with how rapid this cancer spreads and finding out the chemo is not working the way they hoped the doctors are now looking to another option called the Til treatment. Pierro is still working but with missing work do to doctors appointments and battling this it is getting harder for him and his family. Work is becoming harder for him and this man loves to work so at this point we do not if he is going to be able to continue to work in the near future or if he will push through. With the Til treatment that will require him to be hospitalized for at least a couple weeks. I uploaded the photo I did of him because for one it shows his silly personality and another it shows his love for God.
