Pieces to Jade's Puzzle

Jade was born on May 21st, 2010. That day showed her strength and fight for life. She was in the NICU for three and a half weeks fighting to regulate her sugar levels. This brave baby has grown to be a living angel. She's a strong willed, kind-hearted girl that could lift anyone's spirits. Jade was 4 years old until her doctor diagnosed her with Autism. As I heard those words coming out of her doctor's mouth I was devastated. I was unsure of how her life would become. Her doctor recommended for Jade to go through intense therapies, such as Applied Behavior, Speech, and Occupational. Jade is now what doctors call "high functioning." With any 5 year old, there are her good days then there are her bad. With many challenges, the one challenge that we are facing are her social and academic needs. Jade's therapies have been a great support and foundation for her success now and her future, but there have been career changes where I am no longer working and going back to school. I have done my best in trying to provide for what Jade needs and I would want that support to continue on her life's journey. Any donation would benefit the pieces to Jade's puzzle.
