Hi, my name is Bekah Smith, and I’m a local Scouse creator with a real passion for disability inclusion. As both a mum to a severely autistic four year old and an autistic woman myself, this cause is deeply personal to me.
When I heard about Ruby O’Brien’s fight for inclusivity and accessible facilities at the Epstein Theatre, I was so proud of her for speaking up. No child, young person or family should ever feel shut out because proper access is not in place.
Liverpool is a city that looks after its own, and I truly believe the whole city should be getting behind Ruby and this cause. This fundraiser is about helping improve disabled access at the Epstein, raising awareness of why inclusion matters, and showing that access should never be seen as an extra, it should be a given.
Every donation, share and bit of support means so much. Let’s come together as a city and help make sure nobody is left on the sidelines.
