On November 11, 2022, my sister Ashley gave birth to my first nephew, Ramsey Jameson, at their home. Unfortunately, Ramseys older sister was diagnosed with RSV the following day. Despite safety measures, on November 20th at just 9 days old Ramsey began to show symptoms of RSV. On November 21st, he was admitted to U.K. Children's hospital PICU. He was intubated shortly into his stay but began to show many improvements. At one point Ramsey was able to move out of the PICU and to the pediatric floor, but unfortunately needed to move back to the PICU 15 hours later and placed back on CPAP. On December 1st, it was detected that his right lung has collapsed and is now likely to be put back on the ventilator.

This has been a nightmare for my sister and brother-in-law as they have been at the hospital for almost two weeks now and he still has a long road of recovery ahead of him. My brother-in-law Tyler has now been off work for the past 3 weeks. Medical bills will begin to roll in, along with daily financial bills and not to mention food and gas prices are adding up during their stay. This collection of funds will be used to help stay caught up on bills, allow for Tyler to be at the hospital with his newborn, and help with medical bills as they begin to arrive.
