Chylothorax is a rare and serious condition where lymphatic fluid builds up in the chest cavity, essentially putting pressure on his lungs and making it incredibly difficult—and eventually impossible—to breathe. Watching Pickles struggle for air has been heartbreaking, and the road to recovery is a steep one.
