Pickles' Get Better Fund
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Dana and I've created this GoFundMe to help Pickles and his family: Caleb and Nolan (and, of course, Penny).
On January 4th, Pickles (8 months old at the time) had a bit of a nasty fall from the couch. After rushing to the animal ER, it was clear that poor Pickles had broken his front right leg. The cost for his x-rays, medications and surgery came to just over $5,000. Caleb and Nolan did not have enough to pay in full up front, but they were able to seek financial aid through lines of credit and credit cards. After seven challenging weeks of rest and restricted movement, Pickles was finally starting to feel himself again while Caleb and Nolan continued to chip away at the bills.
However, on February 23rd, tragedy struck again for little Pickles and his family. Another freak accident has sent Pickles to the ER - he has broken his front left leg.
With this trip to the ER, his second surgery, more medication, and still x-rays to come, Caleb and Nolan are looking at another $5,000 - $6,000 in expenses.
Pickles is one of the sweetest and goofiest puppies I know. He is the life of the party and he gives the best snuggles! I know that Caleb and Nolan love Pickles like a son and they are going to do whatever it takes for their little guy. But, I am reaching out to you: friends, family, and anyone else who can imagine what it must be like to be in this situation with your own beloved pet. If you can find a way to help make this a little easier for them, I would be eternally grateful. Truly, any amount that you can share helps.
Please help me spread the word! Even if you're not able to give money at this time, please take a second to share the campaign through Facebook or any another social media platform. At the very least, please send your thoughts and prayers for Pickles to have a speedy recovery!
On behalf of Pickles, Caleb and Nolan, I thank you in advance for your generous support!
