Pickles' First Gotcha Day Fundraiser for Saving Harbin Dogs

Hi, my name is Pickles and it is almost my first gotcha day, since I came to the UK to live with my mummy. To celebrate the occasion I want to raise some money for Saving Harbin Dogs, who saved me from a dog meat truck on the way to be slaughtered and eaten!

Saving Harbin Dogs is an amazing organisation, run by the most amazing woman! They currently have about 150 dogs in their care, but really minimal funds, and this would be a big help for them, to provide vet care for their doggies, food and shelter.

Saving Harbin Dogs are based in Harbin City, Heilongjiang province in NorthEastern China, and do everything they can to rescue doggies like me from the meat trade and rehome them in Europe and Northern America.

Every year it's estimated that around 10million dogs are killed for the dog meat trade in China. Whether sold to slaughter by breeders, strays living on the street or stolen from loving homes, these dogs all end up in the same place and the same situation. They are abused, tortured, starved, neglected and suffer barbaric treatment before being brutally slaughtered.
