PICHANGA FLINTA PLAYS IN BERN - SWITZERLAND

Dear friends,

In the context of the UEFA Women's Football Championship, which is taking place in Switzerland this year and under the motto “Football inspires, connects people and creates magical moments,” the Bernese football team Olympique Bärnoise is organising an alternative football tournament in Bern this summer.

“Bend it like Bern” will take place on July 19 and 20 in the Swiss capital and is aimed specifically at FINTA teams from Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.

Our team, Pichanga, has also received the kind invitation from Bern and, as a diverse, international, and soccer-loving team from Berlin, we would love to take part in this great initiative! For us at Pichanga, the soccer pitch has always been a place for encounters and diversity – and we would be delighted to promote diversity in soccer beyond national borders and to work for greater visibility and acceptance of women, girls, and queer people in soccer by participating in the tournament in Bern!

To make this wish a reality, we are currently collecting money, we organise soli-parties and cook for great people.

If you also want to support us, we would be very grateful for any donation, no matter how small! We promise to give our best both on and off the pitch! :)

Im Kontext der Fußball-Europameisterschaft der Frauen, die dieses Jahr in der Schweiz stattfindet und unter dem Motto „Fussball begeistert, verbindet Menschen und erzeugt magische Momente” lädt das Berner Fußball-Team ‘Olympique Bärnoise diesen Sommer zu einem alternativen Fußball-Turnier in Bern ein.

“Bend it like Bern” wird am 19. und 20. Juli in der Schweizer Hauptstadt ausgetragen und richtet sich explizit an FINTA Teams aus Österreich, Deutschland und der Schweiz.

Auch unser Team, Pichanga, hat die Einladung aus Bern erreicht und liebend gerne möchten wir als diverses, internationales und fußballbegeistertes Team aus Berlin bei dieser tollen Initiative mitkicken! Für uns bei Pichanga ist der Fußballplatz schon immer ein Raum für Begegnung und Vielfalt - und wir würden uns sehr freuen, durch eine Teilnahme am Turnier in Bern die Diversität im Fußball auch über Landesgrenzen hinaus zu fördern und uns für mehr Sichtbarkeit und Akzeptanz von Frauen, Mädchen und queeren Personen im Fußball einzusetzen!

Um diesen Wunsch in die Tat umzusetzen, sammeln wir aktuell Geld, schmeißen Soli-Parties und bekochen liebe Menschen.

En el contexto de la Eurocopa femenina de fútbol, que tiene lugar este año en Suiza y bajo el lema «El fútbol emociona, une a las personas y crea momentos mágicos», el equipo de fútbol bernés Olympique Bärnoise está organizando este verano un torneo de fútbol alternativo en Berna.

«Bend it like Bern» se celebrará los días 19 y 20 de julio en la capital suiza y está dirigido explícitamente a equipos FINTA de Austria, Alemania y Suiza.

Nuestro equipo, Pichanga, también ha recibido la invitación de Berna y, como equipo berlinés diverso, internacional y apasionado del fútbol, ¡nos encantaría participar en esta gran iniciativa! Para nosotrxs, en Pichanga, el campo de fútbol siempre ha sido un espacio de encuentro y de diversidad, y nos encantaría promover la diversidad en el fútbol más allá de las fronteras nacionales participando en el torneo de Berna y abogar por una mayor visibilidad y aceptación de las mujeres, las niñas y las personas queer en el fútbol.

Para realizar este objetivo, estamos recaudando fondos, organizando fiestas solidarias y cocinando para buena gente.
