Picazo Family lost everything in a fire

Donation protected

Jillian and I are friends of the Picazo Family.  The mother, Leila, came from the Philippines by herself and worked as a nanny in Mount Albert.  She wanted to make a better life for herself and her family back home.  She married and had a  boy.  The boy, Solomon, is 10 years now.

Leila works two jobs, as a grocery store clerk and in a private school as custodian staff.  Her husband works evenings and nights.

On the 25 th of a November 2020, the apartment she lives in above a restaurant inOak Ridges ( Richmond Hill) burnt down.

Her Home, her personal things and everything she owns is either burnt or ruined.

She works hard to take care of her family here and back home.  She works hard to provide for her son.

This fire, just before Christmas, has devastated the family and left them with nothing.

We are looking to raise money to help them get back on their feet and restart their life.
