Fixing Piatak Meats

We are Piatak Meats your neighborhood, family-owned, full-service butcher shop located in the heart of Northwest Indiana. Since 1910 we have been dedicated to providing our community with premium meats and outstanding service, not available in today's supermarkets. Our goal is satisfaction guaranteed, through personal service and house made products.

We want to keep the shop around, but we have gone through economic struggles and a personal loss last year that has set us back. We need to put our best foot forward in order to keep up with the changing times.

Our attempt at putting our best foot forward will be to update, repair and remodel the shop. We can not afford this facelift on our own, so this is where "GoFundMe" and you come into play. We are hoping with this "fresh look" we can continue to serve the community as a quality butcher shop, which has become a dying art.


We want to say that we appreciate every donation, but we can not emphasize how much we rely on the business of  our regular customers to keep us around.


With the $100,000 we hope to achive the following:

- A new roof

-A new floor for the front

- Update our electric

- Purchase a new marque to attract business

- Fix our lighting in store front

- Purchase a convection oven to allow us to continue our "Cooked Entrée" food trays. 

- Purchase a hood for our fryer so we can use it once again.

- Give our exterior and interior a fresh coat of paint.

- Seal our parking lot

- Purchase new signs for the shops exterior
