Coupled with the $5,575 oline GoFundMe donations, over $7,500 in donation checks and matching gifts were mailed in to the school. THANK YOU for your awesome support. We were able to purchase the Yamaha NU1 Hybrid Piano in time to use at our May 27 graduation ceremony :)

Lutheran High School, on the outskirts of Denver, Colorado, has a rich 61 year history equipping and inspiring students from a biblical worldview. Our music students have gone on to careers ranging from church worship leaders to opera stars.
Yamaha, the premier piano brand used on The Voice, American Idol, and used by classical musicans around the world, is offering the school a special deal on two new pianos for our Music Academy, launching in the Fall of 2016. A new GB1K Grand Piano will replace the aging piano in the music room, and a NU1 hybrid piano will be used for chapels and special events. A hybrid piano has hammers and dampers to give the feel of a traditional piano, but uses digital electronics to keep it always in tune even when moved between events held in the chapel, gym, or off-campus auditoriums. The sound of the NU1 is sampled from Yamaha's world famous CFX 9' Grand Piano.
