!!UPDATE!!

They are now holding my piano hostage while they do mold remediation and construction and are saying it needs to sit there for 1-2 weeks in this process. Is it even covered in plastic? Awaiting communication on how or if my piano is being protected or when I can send someone to cover it in plastic. I could have moved it on Wednesday morning but they would not let me. If you are a lawyer or know a lawyer please reach out.

As you may have heard 481 Van Brunt St in Red Hook that was housing Spectrum as well as my Yamaha grand was devastated by a 5 alarm fire last week. Here is my GoFundMe to help with repair/replacement/moving costs. So many artists had their work damaged and whole businesses were also wiped out. No, I did not have insurance, it was just supposed to be a temporary situation and well, I neglected to do it in time.

I have set the goal for this fundraiser relatively low. The piano is a Yamaha DC3XE3PRO and used is valued at $15-20,000 but I still do not know that it is a total loss situation. (Only today have I been told that people can go inside to some areas, but I still have not gotten access). I just wanted to get the ball rolling here. Best case scenario I will need to do repairs on the piano and physically move it somewhere and also move my salon series to another location. The building was absolutely soaked from water boats with salt water as they battled this fire all night.

Life just keeps coming at ya, doesn't it.
