Pia Samson Memorial Cycle Ride Across America
Tax deductible
My wife and best friend Pia Samson (1974-2021) died on April 17, 2021 as a result of Central Nervous System (CNS) Lymphoma; essentially a form of cancer in the brain. She was a strong and beautiful 47-year-old lady who battled her illness with incredible courage to the very end. She was looked after by the fabulous Hematology and Oncology team at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco to whom Pia's mother Mitos and I are so grateful for the care and compassion they gave her.
I'm raising money to benefit the Lymphoma Research Foundation, and any donation you can provide will help make an impact. I plan to cycle across America from San Diego, California to St. Augustine, Florida in September 2022 to commemorate Pia's life by doing what she enjoyed most – riding a bicycle (albeit going a bit further on one than she might have done).
All donations will go direct to the LRF to help eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by this disease. Thanks in advance for your kind contribution of any amount to this cause that means so much to me, as I know it would to Pia.
Thank you so much,
Jim Baker
