Pi22onkatonk Production support

Pi22onkatonk is back to BRASS!!! Over the next few weeks we will be announcing our 2022 lineup including more than 10 performers from around the world.

WHAT WE NEED TO PAY FOR STILL
  • Sustainable Food Materials
  • Recycling/Composting
  • Porta Potties
  • Band lodging
  • Security
  • Banners
  • Stage/Sound/Lighting
  • Permits
  • Insurance

Each year this event continues to grow and so does the cost of production including fb ads, posters, food for performers, pavilion rental (we rent it for 3 days to setup and breakdown), t-shirts, van rentals, truck rentals, signage, insurance, website, fiscal sponsor fees, etc.

This go fund me is to cover basic expenses like PA Resource Council managing our waste. Over the last two Pittonkatonk events we were able to eliminate hundreds of pounds of landfill garbage by using compostable materials and properly recycling cans. But to do this we pay

In addition to that we spend a lot of money on Porta potties. That shit adds up.

Also lodging performers is costly. Imagine putting 25 hotel rooms on your credit card? Yikes.

Security. We are required to pay off duty police to be at the event. Its part of the rules of special events.

Banners for performers. If you have been to Pittonkatonk you know we don't announce the schedule, but last year we commissioned a local Latino artist Pedro Ibarra to paint a banner for each band.

Finally event production. In the beginning we didn't have a soundsytem because it was all mobile marching bands. Well times have changed and while most bands don't need sound, we need it for some performers and announcements. And lastly we are working to illuminate the park this year at dusk. This is an additional cost we were not anticipating.

If you can find it in your pocket to kick in a few dollars we would greatly appreciate it.
