Thank you for your time in checking out this page! I have recently been selected to participate in a physical therapy service-learning trip to Guatemala. I’m looking to raise funds to cover the program's costs during the week, including airfare, housing, and meals.

For those who don’t know, I just completed my first school year of physical therapy school. I have been drawn to this field because I find that it empowers others to take control of their health and their lives through recovery and learning. This trip will allow me to fully immerse myself in a new and unfamiliar environment, apply the skills and knowledge I’ve gained thus far, and help others regain that autonomy over their health and life. I know I’m still a student learning, and I’m unfamiliar with the Spanish language and Guatemalan culture. But I have confidence in how humans can connect with each other despite the barriers that separate them.

Your financial contributions would help fund physical therapy support that could quite literally change people’s lives.
