Physical and Neurological Therapy

My name is Matthew Lipp; I'm 25 now. About a month before I turned 16, I was struck with Viral Encephalitis, a rare case that doctors said I wouldn't survive. 1 in 10 million, but with my family fighting and the love and support of friends, neighbors and some I didn't even know, I survived what should have been the end for me. I began a slow recovery, then, less than two years later, my heart stopped. Cardiac arrest, my doctor said it was SUDEP (Sudden Death by Epilepsy- a result of encephalitis). I survived one more time; this time, my recovery was set back and slowed even more. I had battled so much, including being misdiagnosed. Now, all these years later, I'm still working on being the healthiest I can be. My ultimate goal right now is to take steps independently and live that way, ultimately not needing a wheelchair to get around. I have more motivation than ever before. I have big goals that I intend and pray to meet. As much as my "case" is phsyical it is also extremly mental/phychological; that stems from being a nuerological case. I need help to get there, though. The love and support of dear friends has allowed me to attend therapy twice a week so far this year at The Perfect Step, a remarkable gym serving people like me. I'm asking for support to have two therapy sessions each week for two hours and see the specialists they've added to the staff for more progress. Ive been able to seek mental/nueroligcal help all of which insuarnaces pay nothing to help. I want a big push; I need to make significant progress. My family is responsible for much of my living expenses and therapy already; please help them support me so I can begin to support myself. I strive to live an idepent life that has high goals and hopes of meeting, not only full independence but surpassing it so I can give back to others after I have taken care of myself. Pleas, help me with my goals! 9 years of a life dramtically changed isnt easy, but people still tell me that they seen big things in me, please help me prove them right!
