Phyllis’s fighting chance to beat cancer

Our beloved mom Phyllis—wife to Homer, caring mother, grandmother, and selfless soul—has been fighting stage 4 lung cancer since July 2020. For five years, her close-knit family—her loving husband, Homer, her four children, and six young grandchildren—have stood by her through countless treatments, hospital visits, and even a clinical trial. To know Phyllis is to love her! She’s the kind of person who’d give the shirt off her back to help anyone, and now we’re rallying to give her one last fighting chance. Despite exhausting every option, her condition continues to worsen, and the emotional toll on our family has been immense. After extensive research, we’ve found hope in Hope4Cancer, a holistic treatment center in Cancun, Mexico, where testimonials from patients in similar stages show very promising results. We believe this is her chance to become cancer-free! Since this is a holistic treatment center, her insurance will not cover any of it. This is why we desperately ask our loving friends and family for help in raising funds. The initial treatment, travel, and lodging are estimated to be around $80,000—a price we’re determined to meet so she can continue to make memories with her family. This is our initial goal to get Phyllis started on the treatment. The center will determine how many treatments and the duration of treatment needed once she begins, which could ultimately change our initial goal.
