PhyllisByrdBailey Lung Transplant

Don protégé

My sister, Phyllis Byrd Bailey has been battling and diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.  From being admitted to St. Joseph’s in Buckhannon, WV then transported by ambulance to Allegheny Hospitial in Pittsburgh then health flighted to Cleveland Clinic in Ohio , has been very stressful to our family.  We would like to thank everyone with your outpouring hearts of love, prayers and concerns. Yesterday, we learned she has been accepted to be a candidate for a Lung Transplant.  God is definitely answering prayers and performing  miracles. Many have contacted asking what you all can do to help. My mom and niece have been conversing with a social worker and she relayed to us as a family and support of friends we should start a fund-raiser. The cost of medical, traveling, and lodging expenses will be astronomical.   Phyllis will have to stay in Cleveland Clinic during this entire duration until a donor comes available, and then approximately 80 days after the transplant.  Also,  my Mom and niece, Jennifer will have to stay close to Cleveland for weeks or months.  If anyone has any suggestions or recomendations we are with open arms ready for any help. Thank you all again for your Love and support and Most of all your prayers ! God is the Greater Physician. You may contact me or my  Jennifer Ervin via facebook messenger, but feel free to call us as well. Love you all. Thank you again to all of YOU reaching out and your support,  it means the world!
