My dear mum, Phyllis Tozer also known by many as Magic Phyllis gave most of her 90+ years helping other people. Her parting wish was to donate her body to science for teaching purposes. Therefore there will not be a funeral - but in time a life celebration.

Phyllis - She was incredibly funny, and absolutely loved nature. After Dad Vern died in 2007, her and community garden became even more important to her - She became very concerned about the enormous decline in birds, hedgehogs and other woodland animals on our trips out. So after considering where best to put a memorial to her and to benefit humans too, I’ve decided that the best fit would be to raise money to benefit The Woodland Trust, and any donation will help make an impact. £20 will secure a single tree, so if we all go mad for it, we might be able to secure the planting of multiple trees. This hopefully will result in more protected habitat for birds, mammals, pond-life and insects alike. And best of all we can all go and walk in the woodland where the trees are planted and enjoy in any season and think about Phyllis.
