On May 6th, the Figueroa family and the world lost a loving husband, a
devoted father, a loyal son, a wonderful brother, a dependable and loving uncle and cousin, a dedicated friend, a coach, a leader of youth, a caring acquaintance, and so much more. No matter where you fall on the list if, you knew Ernie Figueroa he touched your life in a way that made you believe in yourself and that gave you the confidence you needed in that moment and in the future. Ernie was a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ and showed that light in everything that he did.
Ernie is survived by his wife Karron and his three children; Mandy, Colin, & Ernie (Zach). As a dedicated husband and father, Ernie knew that anything could happen and wanted to do what he could to ensure that his family would be taken care of should anything happen to him. But with Mandy getting ready to graduate high school and head off to college and Colin and Zach close behind,even solid planning sometimes is not enough to provide for all of a family’s needs. If you have children you have thought about how expensive college is for one child, let alone three, so we are asking that you help us take this burden from this grieving family. Let’s all give something back to Ernie as he has given so much to us. Let us now shine the light of Christ that Ernie was so proud of and show that the legacy of kindness and generosity he left was one that is not easily forgettable.
