Help Michelle Heal

Our dear friend, fellow mom, and much-loved gymnastics coach, Michelle Chontos, was hospitalized on Sunday, October 23, due to complications from the flu and pneumonia. As of Sunday, October 30, she is still in the hospital. Her recovery time is currently unknown. When Michelle returns home, her road to recovery will not be fast or easy.

As an hourly employee without health insurance, Michelle's prolonged hospitalization is financially stressful for her family. On top of this, Michelle has already missed a week of work and will likely be out several more. All donations from this 'Go Fund Me ' go directly to the Chontos family (Sam, Michelle, Everett, Beckett, and Bellamy) to help with the lost wages and medical bills resulting from Michelle's illness.

Several people have asked about taking a meal to the Chontos family instead of, or in addition to, a monetary donation. Because Michelle is home but still quite ill and unable to cook at this time, home cooked or other prepared meals would be greatly appreciated. Please sign up if you are compelled to do so. Everett does have a life threatening nut allergy, so no nuts.

Please help us show Michelle what an important person she is to us all. As a lifelong Roswell resident and Roswell gymnastics coach for the past 14 years, it seems as if everyone in Roswell knows or has been touched by Michelle in some way. Her quick smile and kind and loving personality make her a favorite coach at the gym. As a friend, Michelle is adventurous and fun and always ready for anything. She loves to talk, and she's a great listener. Michelle is a gem of a person, and we need to do all we can to help her heal quickly, with as little stress as possible!

Give a little or a lot, but, most importantly, please pray, send positive thoughts, or send notes of love and encouragement to Michelle at the Chontos house or the gym, or leave comments here to let Michelle know how much she means to all of us in Roswell!
