I recently applied for a month-long photography residency in Ireland.  As a college freshman, I doubted I would get in.... but I am proud to say, I have been admitted to the Burren College of Art in Ireland. 

I am a photography major at LIU Post and am excited for the opportunity to expand on my work.  This is what drew me to apply to this residency:

"Providing Time, Space and Inspiration is the founding principle of Burren College of Art. Our Residencies provide a place to retreat, reflect, and renew outside of the demands and rigors of daily routine. Set in the centre of one of Europe’s most dramatic landscapes, the Burren is a place where the power and beauty of nature envelops and invites you to expand your vision and abilities as an artist."

Along with this opportunity, comes expenses.  I am working and am able to cover my airfare at this time but need help!

Residency costs = 890Euro  = $1100
Housing cost - 800 Euro -          $1000
Food/essentials                                  $350
Photography supplies -                  $300

Airfare from NYC - between $500-$700
