Rebuilding after Tragedy

My dad. He was a awesome dad. Coming from Lao to America and in his American dream, he wanted a good life with love and children. He married my mother and had three beatiful children. "Thank you dad!" My dad started out as a auto body technician here in Milwaukee and was able to support a family of five off his one sole income. He did what was needed to provide us with a life and some times when we were younger and things tightened up, he had to sacrifice things to keep the family afloat. He certainly taught me how to love and cherish all things in life, and showed me what unconditional love is. Thank you dad so much.

Our family lost our mother this past Saturday the 11th, 2017. We are very, very sadden right now and three days following after, my dad's apartment caught on fire. Normally, he would sleep with his bedroom door closed, because the dog likes to whine in the middle of the night, but this time he left it open, and on Sunday the 12th, at 6:30 AM on Monday morning, three days after my mothers passing, he woke up to the fire alarm going off and got up and ran to see what was happening and opened the front door. He would have not heard the alarm if his bedroom door was closed.

Flames gushed in from above, causing my father to go into a panic. He turns quickly, tried to close the door and grabs his dog, his bestfriend, and heads towards the window to escape and jump off the second floor window -it was his only way out, the front door had flames gushing in. Thank god and my mother's spirit for watching over him and getting him out safely. However, my father lost everything in the fire. The only thing recovered was a photo my his parents -my grandparents.

My dad has had a piece of the American dream and lost it all once before. It is hard to see someone fall and can't get back up. He slowly got his life back together, and it just isn't same. He has lost everything once again, and I can not imagine what he is going through, considering all the tragedies throughout the last few days.

Our family is dealing with such sadness and pain, and I only can pray that we stick together through this all.

I wanted to start a gofundme account for my dad, because he has lost everything in his life and I just wish I could make it all go away for the man who raised me into such a great man myself. Thank you dad, and I hope and pray that you and WE can get through this difficult time.

Thank you all for your participation, support, and love.
