My name is Phoenix and I’m a 19 month old Bengal cat. Three weeks ago I started to urinate a small amount of urine like pebbles, after mum calling the vet and the vet telling her to race me down there I knew it wasn’t good. I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Cystitis and as there is no prevention or medication to stop the episode I was put on painkillers to help pain and medication to stop the spasms in my uriery track... since then I have had three more episodes - two at night meaning I had to attend the emergency vet. It’s unpredictable when an episode can begin but being male makes this more dangerous as if I get a blockage this can be fatal. My condition is caused by my inability to handle stress and I’ve had to attend the vet also to try find out ways to keep me less stressed and my anxiety levels low. Lots of vet visits and more to come. The bills are pilling up so thought would try a go fund me. My Mum and I appreciate any help we can get and even if your unable to donate we would love you to share my story in the hopes of helping getting others who might be in the position to help. As I have more vet appointments coming up I will continue to add receipts when received! Given my mum is not currently working we appreciate every cent or any kind messages and positive vibes and can’t thank you enough for taking the time to read my story.
