Phoenix Moral Monday Legal Defense Fund
Help! Help! ......................We had 39 DEMOCRACY PROTECTORS arrested at Senator Sinema's Phoenix office on July 26th. Ten activists were also arrested at a peaceful sit-in at the Senator's office on June 22nd. We expect citations to be somewhere between $250 and $350 each - if you are able - can you donate a few dollars? We'd like to support our arrestees.

The Arizona End The Filibuster Coalition is seeking to raise donations for our Legal Defense Fund. Money raised will be used for, legal fees, and any possible court fines. Any funds left over will go to future organizing efforts of this important coalition.
Reverend Jesse Jackson, Reverend William J. Barber, Barbara Arnwine local Black clergy and community leaders, other Arizona faith leaders, and hundreds of concerned constituents marched on Senator Kyrsten Sinema's Phoenix office on July 26th. The demand?
That she end the filibuster, pass bills to protect the freedom to vote, and raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour.
The national civil rights leaders were among 39 Democracy Protectors that were arrested. All have now been cited and released. Money is still needed for legal fees, future court costs, and court-imposed fines.
Sinema, it's long past time to do the right thing.
