Phoebe's Care and Surgery
Donation protected
On the evening of June 1st 2023, my daughter,
Erin, was taking her usual walk with Phoebe, her 9 month old Emotional Support Chihuahua mix, near her dorm when she was struck and ran over by a passing car which fled the scene.
Thankfully she was alert but was immediately rushed to the nearest emergency veterinary hospital.
The veterinarian requested that she spend the night to keep an eye on her to make sure that there is no internal bleeding and to monitor her injuries.
The reason I am creating this for her is because just the initial night alone has depleted Erin's savings completely.
Now we are looking at surgery to fix her leg.
This is devastating for Erin as Phoebe has
helped Erin with her mental health exponentially.
Ironically,
Erin's objective for being a veterinarian partly lies in the situation she finds herself in at the moment.
She wants to become your neighborhood vet who can make these situations easier on families.
Whatever anybody can do no matter how small or how generous would help so very much.
As of this moment, Erin is heading back to see her at the vet and discuss the next steps for fixing her leg.
The veterinarian said that she is trying to eat food and all she wants to do is stand up on her leg so it's believed that it is worth saving.
Any questions can be directed to myself or Erin.
