Hello friends of Phoebe, neighbors, and other kind folks that just want to help.  We are asking for your donations, large or small, to help ease the financial stress and medical costs from her gnarly car accident.  We are also hoping to provide a little cushion as she transitions into her healing phase at home which will require some needed gear such as a hospital bed, wheelchair, etc.. We appreciate your help and will keep you updated on her healing throughout her recovery. 

Phoebe has already had surgery on her right hip bone to place it back in the pelvic socket, she will not be able to bear any weight on her right leg for several weeks and will be wheelchair bound until fully recovered.  Her neck sustained an occipital fracture, she will have to wear the neck collar for them next 12 weeks of healing.  There are 3 lacerations on her legs and one arm/bone protrusions caused by the impact.  Her left heel is shattered and her front teeth got bashed in by the airbags and are sitting nearly 1/4” back from where they ought to be.  Her left eye had some shattered bone around it which has been causing some double vision, numbness, and pain.  Phoebe’s nose is  also broken/fractured in a few spots, she will  have to have surgery with a plastic surgeon soon.  

Phoebe does not remember how the accident happened just 15 minutes from her home. After examining her totaled vehicle it appears the drivers side tire was blown out and could have cause her to swerve off the road into the mighty Redwood tree.  She is extremely lucky to be alive!
