Clemo and his work colleagues along with some of our Salford City Roosters are doing the Manchester to Blackpool bike rideon the 12th July.

It’s been a while since we shared an update about Phoebe‑Faith, and lots has happened. Just before Christmas, the family received the news that her tumour was not responding to treatment. The weeks that followed were difficult, with several hospital admissions and a lot of uncertainty.

In late December, she began a new course of chemotherapy and has since completed another round. There has now been a slight reduction in tumour size, which has given the family some hope. Phoebe-Faith celebrated her 12th birthday in April and she was able to meet her favourite TV star Lisa Riley when she visited the Emmerdale set.

Despite this progress, Phoebe‑Faith has not been able to return to school, and her days are still shaped around treatment, recovery and managing symptoms.

Phoebe-Faith’s consultant has confirmed that she should be able to travel abroad — something the family didn’t think was even possible a few months ago. But the reality is that insurance quotes are coming in at almost £3,000, which is far beyond what most families can manage on top of everything else.

Last summer, Phoebe‑Faith had to miss the family holiday to Cyprus because she was starting radiotherapy. This year, we want nothing more than to give Phoebe-Faith and her family the chance to enjoy a holiday and make memories that will stay with them forever.
