This summer I will be volunteering with the nonprofit organization, STRIVE, in Pisaq, Peru for 8 weeks. While there I will be training high school athletes who share my same passion of running. I will also be teaching English to Peruvian children. In addition to teaching and training, we will be partaking in various service projects within the Sacred Valley.
     
     This once in a lifetime experience, of course, comes with a hefty cost. The trip cost $295 per week plus the expense of my airfare which can run up to $1,000.
