Hi, my name is Devan Inouye, a dear friend of Philman Reyes. As many of you know, he and Shana have been working hard fundraising to prepare Philman with adequate funds to engage in the fight for his life again Stage IV small bowel cancel.

Many of you know Philman. He has and will forever be that soul that lights up the room when he enters with his bombastic swag and confidence. Of course, you also know he backed all of that up as one of the elite dart players from Hawaii for many, many years. He has brought light, love, joy, and laughter to all our lives, and it is time for us to give back! He is that friend who reaches out and helps you whenever you're in need. He has always been there to lend a hand, lend some muscle, or even just lend an ear. His generous nature is part of what we love about him, but I feel it also makes him feel awkward when he needs to reach out in the direst times of need. Shana is extremely busy with jersey sales and the fundraising banquet, so I am engaging the crowdfunding platform on their behalf because I know he has touched many of your lives throughout the Hawaii dart community and FAR, FAR beyond.

Part of the intended uses of the funds will be for the prospective upcoming treatments he will endure. He will begin Chemo down here after healing from his recent surgery. The eventual plan is to do treatment in San Diego where they will engage in a more aggressive and direct form of attack against the existing cancer cells. The treatment, the flights, the lodging... these expenses will all add up and hopefully we can fill some of the coffers before hand to enable Philman to concentrate on fighting as hard as he can, and not to worry about where the next dime is coming from to pay for any future life preserving treatments.

If you know Philman, you know he is not the type of friend to reach out his hand for handouts. You also know he is the type of friend that would give his last bucks in his wallet for you to catch a cab home safely. When you choose to donate, I'm sure he has touched each and ever one of your lives in a similar manner that he has touched mine.
