If you knew him... you loved him.  

My natural father... Anthony Cobbs Sr. was loved by many.  His passing has struck us all like a ton of bricks.  But if you knew him, you know my dad lived his life to the max.  He lived a fast and sometimes turbulent life.    Aside from all of the noise he was a very loving individual who did anything for his friends and family.  

Like I stated, his passing came unexpectedly.  He was only 63 years old and he failed to secure Life or burial insurance.  So as his eldest son I am responsible for his final business matters.   Pride aside,  the list of expenses is already becoming more than I can bear at this time.  So I'm coming to you for help.

I would love to raise these funds this month.  The money raised will go towards my father's memorial here in Long Beach and his burial in Philadelphia and all the other expenses that arise.  That will include costs for services and travel needed to make those activities solid and in order.  His service will likely be this month at my church 3CLA in Long Beach.  I will be sure to keep you all informed on the particulars.  

All the well wishes and condolences have been so awesome and encouraging.  I know my dad made you all smile at some point in his life.  Let's see if we can make him smile one more time.
