#PHILLYSTRONG - Cancel Colon Cancer!
Donation protected
Recognize the guy in the picture? Yea, its Phil Schron... and he has stage 4 colon cancer.
Earlier this year, Phil began to have some digestive issues. He saw his doctor and nothing seemed serious. But Phil's symptoms worsened over the next few months. A colonoscopy was scheduled and in August, Phil received the news that no 36 year old expects to hear. Cancer. And after a few weeks of diagnostics, Phil and his wife Liz were told it was stage 4.
If you've known Phil for a while, you know he has always been one of the most positive, supportive, and genuinely sincere people that you will ever meet. He defines what a true friend really is. He defines what a great son / brother truly is. He defines what a great husband truly is. I've seen Phil grow in all aspects of life. It's hard not to laugh when thinking about Phil's journey over the years. Handing out free food in the Wendy's drive through, skateboarding off of garage roofs, and racing his Honda Civic may pop in to your mind as well.
For those of you that haven't been close to Phil as of late, Phil has made so many strides in life. He currently lives in Webster with his wife Liz and their 3 dogs Gus, Frank, and Mae. Phil has seen so much success working for the Danielle Family. He is currently a VP for The Royal Car Wash.
But the most success I have seen Phil achieve, is keeping an optimistic mind set through out his journey with cancer. I'd be lying if I said that I knew what the outcome will be, but I can say that I believe whole heartedly that Phil will never lose to cancer. Cancer will never take Phil away from Phil. He has proven this every day. And this is why cancer will never beat Phil.
This Go Fund Me is not to raise money for Phil. He would never take a cent from anyone. This is to raise money for the Wilmont Cancer Center where Phil has been treated. All proceeds will be donated in Phil and Liz's name to further colon cancer research. Cancer doesn't just affect those with it, but also their loved ones. Parents, siblings, spouses, and friends. Donate today to give just a little more HOPE. Let's help patients get one more day, spouses one more hug, friends one more phone call.
