John Phillips.
John Phillips is an extremely smart man (Operations Leader/Chemical Engineer at Dow AgroSciences) and a devoted family man (two bright kids ages 11 and 2). He's an active member of his church and community, cherished son, passionate family man and extreme fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cheerwine. For me- he is the big bro who reassured me no monsters were in my bedroom at night, protector of little CP (me) against school bullies and the man who picked our family up when our Dad passed away 4yrs ago.
In December of 2016, John was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). Since then he has had an eventful journey full of ups and downs that he has bravely battled. From emergency visits to the ER, finger infections, respiratory infections, seizures and countless bone marrow aspirations and spinal taps...This has absolutely been the biggest challenge of John's life and for our family to say the least.
In New York City, I work at SoulCycle as an instructor. On June 25th, I (Christina Phillips) will be hosting a 45 min ride for John in which all the funds will go to benefit John's medical expenses. However, it shouldn't stop there.
