Just days after Ryan turned 40 in July, he went to the ER with a persistent headache, dizziness, and sudden vision changes. A CT scan revealed a mass in his brain. Within 24 hours, Ryan underwent a craniotomy to remove the tumor and spent several days in the ICU before returning home. The preliminary pathology confirmed the worst: an aggressive form of malignant brain cancer.

Fast forward to October—After a routine mammogram, just three days after turning 40—Katie received “all clear” results. Three weeks later, she found a lump. She pushed for quick follow‑up, hoping for nothing more than peace of mind. A week before Christmas, the call came: stage 2 breast cancer. Her treatment plan includes chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation.
