Hi. My name is Sandi Garcia. Many of you might recall me as "Little Mama" from back in the day. My uncle, Phil, passed away from pancreatic cancer around 9:40 AM on January 31st. He was diagnosed just under 2 years ago and unfortunately lost his battle. His health heavily declined after we brought in the New Year. He was in immense pain nearly 24/7. Everyday tasks became a huge struggle and he couldn't do them anymore. On Saturday the 28th, my uncle went to Kaiser and we didn't know that that would be the last time we saw him in our home. The doctors got him stabilized for a couple of nights, but then we received the dreaded news that he wouldn't be able to get better anymore. His body failed him so fast and we were told to get ready to say our final goodbyes.

My uncle was a big family man. He did everything for his family. He loved his friends and he loved his family. He was tough, loyal, worked hard and loved hard.

Donations would go towards his cremation costs and his viewing services.

Dates for his services are yet to be announced, but will surely be after Feb. 10th. We will let friends and family know once we have the final details.
