Update: Phillip passed from this life on September 2nd. However, his widow, Phuong still has medical bills coming in from his treatments. She is also working on securing employment to support herself.  If you are able to help her make this transition easier, it would be a blessing.
Phillip Vanwinkle is a 2005 graduate of the Memphis School of Preaching, a former missionary to Malaysia, a long time employee at Truth For The World    and the pulpit minister at the Foothills church of Christ in Searcy, Arkansas.  As is the case with many gospel preachers, Phillip and his wife Phuong are sadly under-insured.  So when Phillip was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in May of this year, along with emotional devastation, came financial devastation as well. 
The majority of Phillip's and Phuong's money is directed toward his treatment.  He is currently taking his third round of chemotherapy and still awaiting radiation treatment.  The purpose of this fundraiser is to help them with additional expenses they incur because of the need to travel for treatments and the need for medical equipment.  Please pray for the success of these treatments so that Phillip can continue serving the Lord and His church.  Please help lighten their burden by contributing to this fundraiser.
