Please support young tribal pilots from the Philippines. They share our passion for flight, yet currently do so on borrowed often old tired equipment. I became friends with these amazing young people on a recent visit and was inspired by their passion for paragliding. They have little funds and need equipment to fly safely. I taught them how to do basic servicing on equipment, and had to condemn their only solo glider due to weak lines and porous fabric. They need equipment as they proudly represent their country and compete in accuracy competitions including the up coming 33rd South East Asia Games in Thailand during December.
Inspired by them whilst there I have already donated my own school paraglider which I’d taken on the trip. Knowing I’d left them with on safe modern glider to improve their skills on. My aim/dream by starting this crowdfunding page would be to buy brand new equipment for the young tribal pilots , ensuring a safe future for them in this wonderful sport we all share and love.
Below is a copy of their Facebook post, about a recent training camp they had whilst I was there:

Last October 11–12, we travelled to San Juan, La Union for our preparation toward the . It was another step closer to our dream — and though the road is far from easy, our hearts remain full of determination. We came with borrowed wings, limited budget, and no equipment of our own, but we refused to let those challenges ground us. We showed up, gave our all, and completed our towing task with courage and hope. Because for us, this dream is bigger than just flying — it’s about proving that even with little, we can soar high.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has been part of our journey. To those who have sent GCash support, to our ever-supportive Sky Escape 360Team — thank you for being our constant helping hand, always ready to lift us up not only financially, but also morally and emotionally. You’ve been our family in this sport, and your kindness and belief in us keep our wings open even when the wind feels against us.
We continue to train, fight, and believe — not just for ourselves, but for every Indigenous youth who dares to dream. ✨ As we continue this journey, we humbly knock on your hearts, to anyone who wishes to sponsor or support us in our upcoming trainings and our mission to represent the Philippines in the SEA Games.
Every bit of support, big or small, means the world to us. Thank you, and may God bless you all. ✨
