Philippine Frontline Ministries

Dear Friends,

This summer holds an exciting journey. God has given me the opportunity to go on a twelve-day mission trip.

The past few months, I have been praying about going on a mission trip to the Philippines. I believe God has been calling me to do this because He's given me a heart for for the lost and a passion to share His unfailing love wherever I go. I love that we have an opportunity as the church to go and help others in need.

The first time I heard about Frontline Ministries, my heart burned and ached for their vision and the work they do. I want to love on those kids and serve wherever I’m needed. Jesus is all about missions, and I yearn to have my heart mirror His.

My church, Community Christian Church, will lead a group of us on this mission trip on June 21st-July 2nd. We will support and minister with Philippines Frontline Ministries which has served the Filipino people for over 30 years. I will be joining the ministry team located in San Pablo just south of Manila. My ministry opportunities will include:

Face the Children (a home to 40 children who used to live on the streets)
Frontline Christian Academy (a school attended by local children and children who used to live on the streets)
Tent meeting outreach
Hospital visits
Jail ministries to participate in Bible studies and worship services
Taking food and water to those who live in poverty and worshipping with them
Youth group activities
Building and repairing

I am very excited to be a part of this team and to serve others in need. As I prepare for my trip, I ask you to pray for my safety on this mission trip and that I can share God’s word to help people find their way back to Him.

I also want to humbly ask for your financial support. I need to raise $2,000 to go on this trip. This amount covers my airfare, ground transportation, lodging, and three meals a day for 10 days.
