Philip Waid Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
Philip Waid has been diagnosed with a brain stem tumor, called Clival Chordoma. A very rare and uncommon tumor, which has no treatment in the country. That is why he and his parents must travel to Chicago for proper treatment. This consists of an operation to remove the tumor and reconstruct the part of the stem that has already been eaten, and future radiation treatment to achieve complete remission.
Philip was a CDS student from the time he was 3 years old when he entered ELC until his college graduation in 2021. Philip is a quiet boy but with a great sense of humor, he could always be seen with his two great friends Mark and Hanseo. He has great writing skills and enjoys playing games on the Play Station. He was a student until a few months ago in Canada. And with a great desire to complete studies in administration.
We would like to start a collection to help him and his family pay for the operation and future radiation he requires. Any amount will help so this family has one less thing to worry about and focus on their son's recovery.
