Philip McAuley's Fight Against ALS

In May 2020 our beloved father Philip McAuley was diagnosed with ALS. Within 3 months of being diagnosed he has lost most of his ability to speak and must use a cane to continue his daily life.  Unfortunately as many of you know, there is no cure for ALS at this time. The doctors have started him on medications to help slow the progression, but that is all it will do. My family has decided that we will go forward with every possible treatment there is available to fight against this terrible disease and not give up hope. Treatments such as  stem cell therapy and others that will come available in time . With the cost of the medication already putting a financial burden on our family, we know we will need all the help we can get during these hard times against our fight with ALS.
