Philip Labongo Memorial Fund

It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Philip Oketayot Labongo. He passed away in the early hours of May 6th, 2021. To say that we are shocked is an understatement. Philip was a bright light in this world, he touched and inspired the lives of so many people. He was a great brother, a loving son, and a devoted friend. He will be remembered as an extremely talented young man who loved life and lived it to the fullest. He set goals and worked hard to achieve them. Philip had a wonderful sense of humour, he was an easy-going gentleman who genuinely cared about those around him. He was truly everything that a family could ask for and he truly appreciated the sacrifices that his family members made to provide him with an opportunity to succeed. We are now raising money to cover the cost of Philip’s funeral and memorial service. We hope that facilitating this event will allow us to recognize the impact of Philip’s life and will assist everybody in this difficult time. We are overwhelmed with the support shown during this period of grief and sorrow. We would like to thank everyone for their kind words and condolences, it means more than words can say.
