Phil Smith and his family are asking for support from the community as he travels to Bucharest, Romania to represent his country at the United World Wrestling (UWW) Constantin Alexandru & loan W. Popovici Championship. Phil is currently a junior at Owings Mills High School where he has already won 2 Maryland State Championships.
His hard work and dedication to the sport is now giving him the opportunity to showcase his skills at the international level! Competing at this prestigious event will bring Phil one step closer to accomplishing his goal of wrestling at the college level and, perhaps one day, achieve his dream of representing his country at the Olympics.
Phil has been working countless hours to perfect his skills and, with your help, has the opportunity to travel thousands of miles to prove to the world just how hard he’s been working. We are asking the members of the Maryland Wrestling Community, as well as his neighbors in the Reisterstown/Owings Mills area to help him on journey.
