Hi, my name is Marissa and I am Phil & Terry's middle child. My dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Aleveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare, very aggressive cancer.

Just three weeks ago, my dad was camping and enjoying our family reunion. What started as minor pain in his abdomen, grew into this nightmare of a diagnosis and now he is fighting for his life.

My dad was admitted into Sutter Memorial Hospital in Modesto, on Saturday, August 2nd and has been here since, currently intubated since Friday, August 8th. However, we are waiting for a transfer to Stanford Medical Center, where he will able to get proper treatment to fight this rare disease.

Dad is the main provider for my parents, my mom has gone through three organ transplants since 2017(kidneys and pancreas) and has not been able to work because of her illness. During this time, financial help will be needed to support my mom and dad, while we navigate their finances and both of their medical and personal needs.

My dad has always been so full of life and love. This has been translated through the way that he raised his three children as a teenage parent, as a Respiratory Therapist the past 17 years, and as the go-to man, "Odd-Job" as his motorcycle club brothers call him.

He is the last to ask for help and so I am asking all of you. Thank you for being there for my dad and our family.
