Donation protected
I had lunch with Phil today and we had great conversation and laughs. He seems to be close to the same confident friend we all know and love.
The reason for the campaign:
Phil and his wife are on EXTREMELY limited income.
They are BOTH in stage 4 of potentially life threatening illnesses. Out of respect for their privacy, I won’t share more.
Phil needs hearing aids, but decided last month they didn’t have the funds. (In my opinion, he needs them to keep driving )
Their immediate need is that they need a cushion over the next few months to pay for monthly bills, necessary health care, and to get those “extras” that will help make things easier.
I’m sure there are enough old friends and students out there that wouldn’t mind helping our struggling mentor and friend. I put the goal at $6000, but frankly I’m hoping a bunch of us will allow them an extra $1000 a month for the next year. Let’s see what we can do.
