Phil Machi's 1st Stay 'Tooned! MOVIE
Donation protected
Hiya Folks!
I'm Phil Machi and I love to create!

For 3 years now, I've been living/working as an independent content creator. Some of you may know me from my "Retail Sunshine" cartoons or maybe as the host of the "Stay 'Tooned!" podcast: a series that focuses on the unsung heroes of animated film. The mission of "Stay 'Tooned!" is to take an archival approach to capturing personal stories from artists for educational and entertainment purposes.
My latest project is a feature length, live-action documentary about a cartoon from the early 1990s called "Batman: The Animated Series" which is still making an impact to this day!
I am directing/producing the VERY FIRST "Stay 'Tooned!" movie!
Earlier this year, a Kickstarter campaign was successfully run to fund the creation of this film. Four months and 13 interviews later, and it's looking like the final runtime will be somewhere in the two-hour range.
I am so very grateful for the opportunity this has afforded me. To make a movie about one of the most important animated series in television history - and certainly one of the most personal for me growing up.
The film is nearing completion! It's an exciting time and I am beyond thrilled to be so close to sharing it with the world for free on YouTube.
HERE'S WHERE YOU COME IN...
SHARE this GoFundMe Campaign on Facebook or anywhere you're social!
Pitch in with ANY amount!
One of the unexpected challenges I've been faced with recently though are the hidden expenses. There are legal fees, specialists I need to pay for vital services, and the financial runway I was able to generate with Kickstarter is running out.
The film is ALMOST DONE!
My goal is to have it released sometime this summer. I would love to make sure I can keep moving forward and not rush the outcome so that everyone can enjoy the best film possible.
My Supporters on Patreon have been incredible (and you are more than welcome to become one of them), but it has become clear to me that I need a little more help.
This is not something I ask lightly.
Some people have a day job or other form of income to support their creative pursuits. The way I support myself is by fundraising for the projects that I put back out into the world.
Thank you for considering assisting me here and if you'd like to go even further by becoming one of my regular Patrons (either monthly or annually), you can read more here: https://patreon.com/philmachi
