Phil Leahy

Phil Leahy has been diagnosed with throat cancer (tonsil) - invasive squamous cell carcinoma (p16 positive).

Because of the intense treatment plan (a combination of radiation and chemotherapy), Phil must relocate to Brisbane for 8 weeks. He'll need to leave his beloved home in Port Douglas, a two-hour flight away, to be close to Greenslopes Hospital in South Brisbane.

Many entrepreneurs in our network will know the hours of unpaid work that goes into the grind of starting a new business, not to mention the financial investments. Phil has also been heart on the sleeve, all or nothing and this devastating news could not come at a tougher time for any retail business in this current climate.
