I’ve started this GoFundMe in remembrance of our dear friend, Phil Johnson, and to help Yin with personal living expenses now that Phil is gone.

I have known Phil and Yin for over 15 years, having met them within our mutual private investigation industry network. I saw them frequently at industry conferences and events and always enjoyed spending time with them. We stayed in touch through social media and email, and they were always incredibly supportive of my businesses, sharing and reposting my social updates whenever they saw them. And, of course, I loved following them along their adventures through social media, often seeing them enjoying an adult beverage in some exotic place. Phil will be sorely missed by so many people whose lives he touched, and the world will not be the same without his beautiful, welcoming smile and energy in it.

Phil and Yin lived in the present, enjoying every day one at a time. With that, they did not save much money and did not have life insurance. Yin will continue their business but will not have the same level of income to support the adventurous lifestyle they were accustomed to. This page was created to assist Yin with future expenses and all monies donated will go directly to her. Please feel free to contact Yin to verify the legitimacy of this request.
