Phil and Em Holmgren

Married in September 2016 these two have had a rocky start. They have had some major medical with Phillip breaking his back which required surgery in September 2017. Also, Em being diagnosed with Musculoskeletal Degeneration Disorder, Alopecia, and early onset Rheumatoid arthritis which has left her using a wheelchair most of the day.

In July of 2018, everything came to a sudden stop when they had their second fire in their home. It left them with little income and no place to go. They were in the process of changing insurance companies when the fire occurred. Due to this neither company wanted to cover the damages. They are living there with no water, no gas, minimal electric, and very old windows.

In order to live there they are hauling buckets of water to flush the toilet, running kerosene heaters and an extension cord from the neighbors for a heated blanket to stay warm. Many of the windows are cracked and broken making it hard to keep any heat in and electrical wiring that is very dangerous due to the age of their home.  They have sold all of their personal belongings besides the house and vehicles to get to work in an attempt to keep up on bills.

These two have been very determined to not give up and keep going and have had to continuously figure out how to make things work out.  They would be so grateful for any amount to help them get back on their feet.  Thank you in advance for your generosity.
